The Lockhart

The Lockhart is a cute little Harry Potter themed bar that primary serves drinks and some snacks. The decor is thoughtful and pays homage to the Harry Potter universe quite beautifully. If there is one thing you're gonna try, give the Better Beer a shot. It's quite unique. The staff are wonderful and helpful as well.

Drinks were amazing, the wait staff were really friendly but service was slow. Feels a little cramped but I love it. If you're a Harry Potter fan this is a must see. Get the BetterBeer. It's amazing and goes well with the Horntail Fried Chicken. The Beet salad wasn't as good though. Barely had any goat cheese on it. It'll be difficult to get a table on Friday afternoons and evenings. Place seems really popular. P.S.: Make sure you check the washrooms in the basement for a nice surprise.

Great atmosphere in this Harry Potter inspired spot. Original cocktails. Tried the "better beer"- ginger ale, ginger beer and tequila, whipped cream and toasted marshmallow - it was really delicious. Place is kinda small and popular, so can get really busy and you'll sometimes have to wait for a seat. Good service. Highly recommend.

We loved the charm, decor, friendliness, cozy feeling, and drinks menu! This is an unassuming bar nestled in a small nook which you could miss from the outside if you weren't looking for it. The atmosphere was warm but a little mysterious, full of trinkets and nods to the books and films, and it felt like we were hanging out in a place which might have been a normal haunt in the actual wizarding world. If you're a fan looking for a delicious taste of magic without all the glitz and glam of official tourism, or just want a very cool bar to casually frequent, The Lockhart is for you.

Awesome experience for Harry Potter lovers or not. Unique cocktails, we tried two and loved both. Can't wait to go back and try others. Highly recommend. Even though the bar was busy, the staff was exceptionally nice to accommodate us indoors (keep us warm). They were very efficient at seating us right away as tables emptied out. Excellent service!

Great cocktails! They taste amazing but I wish they where a little more boozy. I think most people think of this place as a themed bar just for kicks but it’s actually one of my favorite go to speakeasy’s. The Betterbeer is a must try but my personal fave is the Shacklebolt. Its absolutely amazing!! Perfect for the cooling weather and warms your soul. Comes with a burning cinnamon stick which appeals to my theatrical side. Tastes and emotionally feel similar to an apple cider but better cause it’s boozy.

Really nicely decorated and aesthetic themed bar. It's not overbearingly themed so your friends who aren't as savvy can still go and appreciate the decor. Drinks are a little bit on the pricier side, but are absolutely delicious and worth trying out. Pictured below is the Betterbeer.

Have been here for brunch twice now and it's amazing! I love how they decorate the drinks, I always get a mimosa, and the eggs benny are delicious. Staff is warm and helpful. Great for time with friends or a date.
